Pilates is a dynamic, multi-faceted, mind-body movement method designed to balance and strengthen the alignment of the body.
Every Pilates movement is an exercise in concentration, centering, control, breathing, precision, strength, balance, coordination, and flowing movement. During our sessions, you will discover a new sense of space in your body and a feeling of connection to your center. You will develop control as you learn how to activate specific muscles for movement, stability, and balance, and as your proper alignment begins to return, you will experience a lightness with in your body. As you stretch and strengthen your muscles and joints, you will enjoy increased mobility and agility, and as you focus on the precision of your movements you will deepen your mind-body connection.
